HBL’s skill games are officially in China! The opening of our newest operation at LEGOLAND Shanghai on 5 July marks a major milestone in HBL’s continued growth across Asia and represents an exciting new chapter for the business. As one of the original attractions available from day one, our skill games are proudly part of the guest experience at this brand-new park.
LEGOLAND Shanghai welcomed family and friends for a soft opening, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Despite the rain, guests eagerly queued to play, making it clear that HBL’s skill games were an instant hit and quickly became one of the standout attractions in the park.
The park has 10 HBL skill games, combining some all-time favourites with brand-new experiences created just for LEGOLAND Shanghai. Returning favourites include Basketball, Rebound, Ring Toss, Hook a Duck and Lobster Pot, which have been crowd-pleasers at attractions around the world. Joining them are five brand new games, all designed with a LEGO twist to match the playful atmosphere of the park. These skill games include Water Race, Derby Race, Knockdown, Cat Rack and Dragon Catch. Each game has been designed to capture the fun that both LEGOLAND and HBL are known for – friendly competition and great prizes.
The prize selection throughout the park has also been curated with LEGO fans in mind. Players have the chance to win a wide range of LEGO-branded plush and merchandise, including two exclusive minifigure prizes available only at LEGOLAND Shanghai, such as NINJAGO Lloyd and a charming Unicorn minifigure.
HBL’s skill games launch in Shanghai represents more than just a new location. It is the beginning of HBL’s journey in China. As our first operation in the region, it reflects our commitment to bringing high-quality, family-friendly entertainment to major destinations around the world. HBL is proud to partner with LEGOLAND Shanghai in creating a fun and rewarding guest experience that adds value to their offering.
We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to building on this success as we continue our expansion throughout Asia!
