2026 just started, and HBL is already on a roll! Thanks to a brand new partnership with Chimelong Group, HBL has officially expanded in China, bringing signature skill games to two of the country’s iconic theme parks, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Hengqin and Chimelong Paradise in Zhuhai. Fully operational by 7 February, just in time for the Lunar New Year peak period, this launch marks a strong start to 2026 as well as an important milestone for HBL’s continued growth in the region.
Chimelong Group is a leading cultural tourism conglomerate in China, boasting a diverse portfolio of world-class resorts, theme parks, hotels, and entertainment offerings that welcome millions of domestic and international visitors each year. With its scale and reputation, this partnership with Chimelong Group is a strong step forward for HBL as we continue to strengthen our presence and growth in the Chinese market.
At Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, guests can now test their skills at Lobster Pot and Basketball, with Hook a Duck for a guaranteed prize every time. Over at Chimelong Paradise, Basketball and Lobster Pot are already drawing in families and groups of friends for some friendly competition away from the thrilling rides. These classic skill games have proven to be a hit globally, as they bring an added layer of interactive fun and excitement to the parks, complementing the already lively and dynamic atmosphere. And of course, no HBL skill games operation is complete without prizes! Winners can walk away with the classic HBL Bananas, adorable animal Jelly Monsters and plush in different sizes.
These five skill games in two of Chimelong’s theme parks are just the beginning. HBL is looking ahead to adding more skill games in the existing parks and exploring opportunities to expand into even more Chimelong destinations!
