Patrick Bankole began his journey with HBL in 2016 as a Stockman at LEGOLAND Dubai. Over the years, he has grown within the company and taken on new roles such as Team Leader, Games Manager and Site Manager. Each new role brought a fresh set of responsibilities.
As a Team Leader and later a Games Manager, Patrick developed his people skills and learned how to manage the day-to-day challenges of running skill games operations. His promotion to Site Manager at Motiongate Dubai expanded his responsibilities even further as he took charge of both Motiongate and LEGOLAND Dubai. This progression gave him a deeper understanding of daily operations and the experience needed to maintain a smooth workflow across both sites.
His next chapter began in 2019, when he relocated to Saudi Arabia to take on the role of Stock Manager for HBL’s first Winter Wonderland project in the region. The move came with its challenges, but he welcomed the opportunity. “Moving to a new region and managing stock for Winter Wonderland was a significant challenge, but it was also incredibly rewarding. I learned so much from the experience and saw firsthand the impact of my work on the success of the event,” he shared. Since then, managing cross-site operations has allowed Patrick to collaborate with a diverse team and take a more strategic approach to inventory management.
Today, Patrick Bankole leads as the KSA Stock Manager, overseeing inventory operations across multiple sites in Saudi Arabia. While the role comes with its challenges, he sees each one as a chance to learn and improve. Taking on leadership roles early in his career taught him how to keep operations running smoothly even during peak seasons and large-scale events.
Another challenge he faced was adapting to new environments. Moving to a different country and leading teams across unfamiliar sites wasn’t always easy but Patrick overcame it by immersing himself in the local culture, building strong relationships with the team and adapting quickly to the local operational dynamics.
When asked about his biggest accomplishments in HBL, Patrick cited his career progression as one of the most rewarding parts of his journey. Starting as a Stockman and working his way up to KSA Stock Manager reflects his hard work and the trust that HBL has placed in him. “Each role and experience at HBL has offered its own unique lessons and memories, and I’m thankful for the growth opportunities along the way,” he said.
